Immediate Implementation of Outdoor Watering Ban

The Banks County Public Utilities Department wishes to inform all residents that, effective immediately, an outdoor watering ban has been instituted to promote essential water conservation efforts. This action is necessary in light of the current circumstances impacting our local water resources, and it aims to safeguard this vital supply for our community.

We kindly request that all residents voluntarily cease any outdoor watering activities, which include, but are not limited to:

- Watering of lawns and gardens

- Washing of vehicles

- Filling of swimming pools or hot tubs

Your cooperation during this critical time is greatly appreciated as we work collectively to ensure the sustainability of our water supply. This prohibition on outdoor watering will remain in effect until further notice, and we encourage everyone to stay informed about updates regarding the status of this ban.
