Board of Elections

Mission

The Board of Elections primary responsibility is to ensure election compliance within its jurisdiction. Their responsibilities include the registration of voters, certification of candidates for the ballot, maintenance and set-up of voting machines, appointment and training of election workers, poll workers and certifying of all election results.

Board Meetings

The Board of Elections and Voter Registration meet the first Thursday of each month at 9:00 a.m. 

All meetings are held at the Election Office, 226 Candler Street, Homer.

 

ELECTION DATES:

March 12, 2024 - Presidential Preference Primary

May 21, 2024 - General Primary

 

All Early Voting will be held at the Banks County Election Office, 226 Candler Street, Homer.

 

All Election Day Voting will be held at the Banks County Rec Center, 607 Thompson Street, Homer.
