Mission

The Banks County EMA/E-911 office is one department that handles 9-1-1, emergency dispatch services and critical local emergency management services.  As the first link in the chain of public safety, it is our mission to provide prompt, courteous, reliable and professional EMA/E-911 support. E911 works to be the one point of call and dispatch for any emergency service while EMA integrates coordination for planning, preparedness, response, recovery and mitigation efforts.

We are founded and take pride in maintaining highly qualified and capable Communications Officers and EMA Volunteers who adhere to the highest standard of professionalism and personal character qualities.  We will maintain these professional standards and qualities through ongoing training and cooperation/coordination with all that we serve.  We will be lifelong learners, accepting our responsibilities, challenges and necessary changes with a willing attitude as required by our profession.

Our foundation, duty and mission has charged us to aim for no less than a better quality of life and service for Banks County Citizens, Visitors and Responders. To achieve all that is required for this foundation duty and mission; first and foremost, we will serve God and we will provide service with His guidance.
